It turns out that my Main was missing the An Ill-conceived Venture quest - a handy quest that unlocks retainer Jobs and Ventures the task not the currency. That was the plan.
However I could not assign them jobs even though I was qualified in every way.
. Earlier today I went to assign jobs to my two brand new retainers. The drop rate feels like its about the same as it was in. Ive received probably about a dozen coffers since my retainers began hitting 90 and the first two contained a Retainer Fantasia which alarmed me a bit until the subsequent ones started containing dyes again.
Or thought I was. All I get from my ventures are gear items I cant use stuffed bom bokos and stuffed alphas.
